全世界各地有許多的國家，每個國家的風俗民情都不一樣。除了文化的不同，食物也不同，語言也不同。各國都有自己獨特又有魅力的地方。有些可能是因為某個建築物而出名，就像是台灣的101大樓，杜拜的帆船飯店。有些是因為文化遺產而有名，像是羅馬的競技場，巴黎鐵塔，美國的自由女神像，大陸的長城。又有另外一種是因為大自然的景觀而出名，像是日本的富士山，美國黃石公園，加拿大尼加拉瓜大瀑布。種種的因素會讓我們對一個國家產生一個刻板印象。比方說，講到英國，我們第一個想到的就是英國女皇或是威廉王子。講到希臘，我們就會聯想到愛琴海，純白又浪漫的健築。講到夏威夷，就令人覺得陽光普照，立即就會聯想到草裙。
我有時候都會試想，外國人來到台灣時，對台灣的感覺是甚麼? 他們看到行天宮的感覺會不會跟我們看到日本寺廟的感覺很接近? 關於這個問題，我曾經問過我的外國朋友，他們覺得台灣的 “人” 很熱情又親切，而且，夜市是他們覺得最有趣的地方，有得吃又有得玩，東西便宜又好吃。身為台灣人的你又覺得台灣怎麼樣呢?

Fish and chips, I'd say. Cloudy weather…rainy, drizzly…everybody miserable, grey skies, the Queen, what else, baked beans… I don’t know.
Very open-minded and eating fish and chips all the time… and drinking beer!
Probably the monarchy, the Queen, and the Industrial Revolution perhaps… castles and the guards on horseback!
Bad weather, busy. And lots of tourist attractions, I suppose.
Buckingham palace, I suppose, St. James’ Park,Trafalgar Square, lots of pigeons, fish and chips, stuff like that, I suppose.

In this discussion, British people tend to think that the country’s weather is not so good since it is wet most of the time. As the matter of British residents, they think they are not happy. When people think of Britain, the first person comes into their mind is definitely the Queen as the monarchy is quite special and unique nowadays.
When they think of food, most of them think that fish and chips is quite famous. There are also many tourist attractions,including castles, elegant guards on horseback and numerous parks with beautiful flowers.
However, it is surprising to know that the weather is Britain is not so well. In my assumption, I thought it is sunny all the time and flowers are blossom throughout the year!
