Are you romantic?

Here's what people in London said:

Man 1: I'm not that romantic to be honest. The most romantic thing I've ever done is … have, like, a candlelit dinner for my friend, that's about it.

Woman 1: I think that the most romantic thing I did was like … was a letter I wrote to a guy I really liked and... it's the most romantic thing I have ever done.

Man 2: I'd like to think I am! I think the most romantic thing I've ever done is taken a girlfriend on arickshaw ride through London. With all the lights like flickering. She loved it actually.

Man 3: I'm not a romantic person at all! Sorry, is that bad?!

Let’s dig in!

In this interview, most of the interviewees are men. Only one of them is a woman. It seems that people would think that being romantic is a guy thing, not a girl thing. Girls are usually the ones who expect their lovers to do romantic things to them. However, guys tend to look at it not so important in a relationship.

Among the three guys, one of them had a candlelit dinner for his friend, not his girlfriend. It is kind of surprising that a guy would be romantic to a friend when he is not having a crush on the girl. Another guy took his girlfriend on a rickshaw ride in the city when the lights were flickering. I assume it happened during Christmas time so the trees were all decorated with neon lights. The last guy said that he was not romantic at all and wondered whether it is bad or not. What do you guys think?

The only woman who was interviewed said that she only wrote a love letter to a guy she liked. That was the most romantic thing she has done in her life. I guess, most of the time, she is the one treated romantically so there are not many chances to be romantic.

To be honest

To be honest, I do not like to do exercises.

Candlelit dinner

It is very romantic to have a candlelit dinner with your lover at the beach watching the sunset.

Rickshaw ride

Human rickshaw ride is quite fun, but the person who pulls the ride requires much strength.

Flickering

Christmas lights flicker in the park and give people this warm hearted feeling in the snowy winter.

Tell me about it...

What is the most romantic thing you have done to your lover?

Who is the most romantic person you have met in your life?

When did this romantic thing happen?

Where did this romantic thing take place?

Why do you think it is important to be romantic in a relationship?

How do you make your life romantic?

Now tell us what you think!

FYI

“Maybe we've lived a thousand lives before this one and in each of them we've found each other... I know I've spent each life before this one searching for you. Not someone like you but you, for your soul and mine must always come together.”
